Le Commandant-Charcot is powered by a hybrid engine that combines the use of liquefied natural gas and electric generators to minimize the impact of tourist cruises on the nature of remote regions.
The vessel was finished by two world famous architectural and design companies, the studios of Jean-Philippe Nuel and Jean-Michel Wilmotte, creating a harmonious natural design.
